The Warranty department is responsible for warranty management of delivered vehicles. The department belongs to Field Services, which is directly subordinate to Operations and Supply Chain.

We are now looking for a Warranty Administrator.

Your future challenge

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for registering, managing, analyzing, and closing warranty cases and reported warranty items both internally and with customers. This may involve repairs with subcontractors and on self-manufactured materials. The role is outward-facing, and you will engage in frequent customer dialogue where it is important to build a good relationship. Contact with customers mainly occurs through a case portal as well as via phone and email.

Warranty management is currently a process shaped by customer needs, requirements, and the production setup applicable to each country. For some of our customers, large parts of the operational management will be built up and handled through a partner. A few times a year, we meet the customer at warranty meetings and make joint decisions on difficult cases together with the project. You will handle customer complaints in our business system.

You will work together in a group, where team spirit is important as we will support each other over time and share experiences.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Ensuring that customer warranty claims are handled through our case portal.
• Participating in internal decision forums and thereby making decisions on whether a warranty is approved or denied.
• Ensuring that registered warranty cases are managed and followed up in our business system.
• Keeping the customer informed about ongoing cases.
• Handing over cases internally or to an external dedicated subcontractor and following up on actions for ongoing cases.
• Ensuring that the customer receives correct compensation, in the form of a new item or a proposal for repair costs.
• Following up on the number of cases, error outcomes, and impact on warranty conditions.
• Being businesslike in contacts with customers and subcontractors.

Travel may occur in the position, as we see it as important to create a relationship with the customer and knowledge of the product.

Who you are

We see that you have a vocational technical education or equivalent through work experience. Perhaps you have training in or have worked with deviations, quality, or purchasing. You must be able to read, understand, and analyze technical documentation. A university degree is an advantage, as is experience working in Aras and SAP.

As most of our customers are in other countries, you need to have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

You have your own drive and will work independently in warranty projects, which means you need to have a good ability to collaborate both externally with customers and with internal contacts.

It is advantageous for the role to have a willingness to influence tomorrow's working methods.

You will have many points of contact within the company as cases vary greatly in scope and complexity. Maintaining customer focus and the willingness to influence for the customer's benefit is important. You are a person who thrives on order and structure, you enjoy systematically and analytically tackling problems, and you are service-oriented. You are empathetic and responsive in your interactions and confident in yourself.
